I spent most of today at True Colours Salon and Day Spa getting my hair fixed. Over four hours and $100 at the salon later (not to mention all the at home boxes I bought), and I am finally happy with my hair! It is all one consistant color too! The boxes only dyed my scalp and they dyed it a kool-aid red color too. They had absolutely no affect on the rest of my hair. The women (yes, it took two stylists) who consulted with me and helped me through this awful, awful series of dye jobs are absolutely fantastic. One wrong move and I could've been in a color-lock (where your hair resists all help) or having it all fall out... All in all, I'm glad I decided to go there for their help and it was well worth the money. I totally wish we had done before and after pictures though. Hmmph.
Other than that, I haven't done much else today. I got to talk to Kel for most of the day and I seriously enjoyed that. He helped me through the majority of the boredom in the lulls of the coloring process. I do miss him, but at the same time I've re-grown used to the personal space and spending any time alone that I want to. I do miss his warmth at night and that downright adorable smile of his. His absence hurt the worst when it was new and I had 20-some days until I saw him next. Now I've grown used to it and I'll be seeing him in nine days. I can't wait to see his smiling face when I walk through the airport towards him.
